I will never step foot in Torrington Animal Hospital again. My dachshund couldn't stand or walk and was going to the bathroom on himself. We brought him in for an emergency visit and was turned away. They said to come back tomorrow for an office visit. We wanted to pay the additional money for an emergency visit and they would NOT take him in. I have been bringing dogs there for 20+ years and WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN!!!! I called Sand Road Animal Hospital and they said to bring him right over. It turns out that he had Lyme Disease that was brought out by a rabies shot that he received the week before. Sand Road was wonderful and compassionate. They are our new vet and Dr Dave was wonderful!
