Would NEVER go back! 7/20/2009

I've had 2 experiences, the first being my husband who almost needed a complete knee replacement. He only met the doc before going into surgery-which we won't go into the long story where only ""hard"" x-rays were taken-no MRI! Finally, got an MRI & it became an emergency situation.\r \r However, I went in for myself, again only several hard x-rays (of course on their machine-I'm still helping to pay for!)these films which mainly show the bone (which I knew my knee was not broken!) Well after a 2 hr + wait I see a assistant who say's I have a lil' arthritis, recommends shots or physical therapy. Approx. 3 mos. later my R/ knee begins giving out on me-I took several hard falls, I was also experiencing Llermittes Syndrome, which I explained these ""shocks"" to the assistant. Anyhow, getting back to the ""falling"", I called back to Treible's office & asked about if arthritis could cause the knee to just give out-as I fell 3 x's in 1 week!\r I was told-""Oh yah, this could happen, but we should probably have you back & take more x-rays in the office as it's been a couple months!"" I was like-""Are you kidding me!"" Long story short-My neck is blown out from C2-C7-T1, w/ Llermittes, bleeding & bruising & a host of other things which appears to be due to the last major fall. I now need emergency surgery, however, they can't take a chance of me coming home & falling! So I have now sent my chart to a orthopedic who I will actually see, & I know this for sure as he saw me to evaluate my spine & cervical & spent nearly an hour w/ me. In fact, he isn't certain if my ""falling"" isn't directly correlated w/ my spinal injuries-but atleast I know that I now have a patient/doctor relationship where ""he"" will be doing what's in MY best interest.\r So-Yah, I was told I'm lucking that I'm NOT in a wheel chair-after these falls with my cervical spine which is now showing bleeding & bruising from the falls!\r In my opinion, Dr. Treibles office will be best suited for the socialized medicine-just around the corner-production-production!...and his relationship will be w/ the government-not w/ you! Sorry to get on such a ""tangent"", but I've worked closely w/ politics only in the subject of ""medicine"", & fighting against HMO's...& somehow, I see Dr. Treible fitting into this perfectly.\r Sadly, I know awesome doctors who are their to protect the patient/doctor relationship & this kind of treatment is just plain ""-ss"" wrong!"" and sloppy medicine just to gain a buck! Pros: NOTHING! Except for taking your $ Cons: You NEVER see THE Dr.-/Almost became a ""quad""! more
