After moving here 3 years ago, the task of finding a new hair salon was daunting, but I luckily went with the supercute ad I saw in Heights Pages and tried out Shine in the Heights.\r
I've been going to Meryann for haircuts for over two years now, and I have never been disappointed. She's cool and will listen to you and discuss what you want to accomplish. Lisa does my color, and she has done excellent work the past six months I've been going to her. She listens to me and suggests things that I wouldn't know of, and I am definitely so happy with my color!\r
The salon itself is low-key and funky --definitely not pretentious, as so many other salons in Houston have proven to be. The price is extremely reasonable, and I have never flinched when told how much I owe. Especially for those living in the Heights, I highly recommend this awesomely comfortable salon!
