They broke my watch 7/14/2009

The Short : Old Timer Clock Shop DESTROYED My Swiss Army Watch\r The Long : I took my Swiss Army watch to them last Sept 08 to get it cleaned, and to replace the crystal which had a slight blemish in it. I was told they would call me when it was fixed, he estimated 4-6 weeks, he said he'd have to order the crystal. 6 weeks no call, so I do. Still not done, apparently this crystal is hard to get. Finally December rolls around, and I decide to go and just get it. Come to find out he admittedly busted the crystal to remove it, as opposed to removing the back, that he said would be difficult. So now I can't even wear it, nor am I motivated to go find someone to order this mysterious part.\r FAST Forward to 30 minutes ago - Fast Fix Lakeline Mall\r I finally take my watch from the shelf it been sitting on to get the crystal fixed. They surprise have one in stock, great. Until I relay them the story and the tech shows me no, real easy to remove the crystal by removing the back, he demonstrates, then PARTS FALL OUT. Your movement is broken he says, about 260$ to repair. The watch 400$ originally. Old Timer has replaced my batteries the two previous times before this fiasco, that was uneventful, never though did they inform me my movement was broken, so I assume it must have been broken when they tried to replace the crystal, thanks Old Timer, for busting my watch and trying to cover your tracks. Pros: None in sight Cons: They're in business more
