I have eaten here a few times b/c the food is good and cheap but that does not give them the right to be rude. It's not the whole staff just some crusty old prune named Robin. You will notice her but all the scabs and bandages on her arms and she looks like a 3 pack a day smoker. This old ""B"" is just down right rude. As she came by the throw my food on the table she barked ""take your feet off the booth"" and just walked away. Then she never returned until some other lady yelled to back ""Robin, register"" about 4 times till the troll creeped back up front.
I have been in the hospitality business for the past 15 years and can honestly say Lankford is clueless about customer service. Another interesting fact to note is they only take cash. In my experience this is automatic sign of a small business padding their reported sales to the tax bureau.
People give this place high rating b/c they think it some hidden gem in Montrose. I would not recommend this place until they put some of that cash back into the falling down building or train their waitstaff to at least be up to McD's standards.
Pros: Decent food at a good price
