A large, very attractive dining room with a separated large bar and show stage where the owners of Capri bring in local acts to perform a couple of times a week. I've eaten at the old Capri di Amore in Northlake until they moved operations over to Oakbrook. Much further drive for me but always worth the trip! There's not a bad item on the menu from what I can tell from my many visits. Home made pasta's and sauces are truly the best I have anywhere except a possible exception in Bologna or Florence. The restaurant is both big enough for a quiet romantic dinner with my wife or friendly enough to bring the entire family (which I have done on multiple occasions). For an authentic Italian mean and incredible service (ask for Otto)...Capri cannot be beat anywhere in the Chitown area.
