My first experience with Trashy Roots was a little overwhelming. I chose the owner, Anna, thinking "most experienced". She did an ok job but talked nonstop and loudly! I go there to relax not to have twenty questions, and personal ones at that, thrown my way.
I switched stylist. Lacey was great! She took so much time with me and did an awesome job. I just found out she is gone, and not by her choice. Can't imagine firing your best stylist!
I called to set up an appointment for my brother in law who hasn't had a haircut for 10 years. Irene did an ok job but I had to ask her to shave his neck! Isn't that just part of a normal mans cut?
I'm bummed that Lacey is gone but will find her when she gets her new job .My reason for writing this is review is simply to inform others. I use Citysearch a lot and appreciate HONEST reviews. And when I see that the owner is taking them so personally instead of using them to better her salon, it angers me. She is misusing this website and trying to tell everyone that it is disgruntled employees writing the bad reviews. Not very wise.
