DON'T go to this tasteless restaurant. First of all, this place FAILED its health inspection not once but THREE TIMES!!! This information was published in numerous newspapers in Tucson and it was all over the news stations as well. The restaurant is one word: FILTHY! I was appalled when I actually noticed the herds of cockroches in the main dining area as well as all over the sushi bar (and i mean quite literally ON the bar, I've actually witnessed this). Other than the disgusting environment, the staff is unbelievably rude and incompetent. Also, after speaking with the owners i wasn't surprised when they were not remotely welcoming to my colleagues and myself. They were to say the least, undeniably condescending and extremely ill-mannered. I've also witnessed various conversations held between the owner and her staff and she seems very driven by greediness. All that I mean to say is that asian people are CHEAP and the owners of this restaurant want customers to pay around $15-$20 per person on a single meal, talk about swindling the public to pay for overpriced INAUTHENTIC japanese cuisine. People go to RA instead, seriously because yoshimatsu is the worst place you can go in Tucson.
