This was the smartest thing I've ever done in terms of moving, what a relief it was to go with this company. We have moved probably 8 times in the last 8 years (some long, but most short distance). As we bought our first house on this go around, I debated whether to get movers or just 'do it ourselves.' After going through Express Movers, I am just thankful that I had the wit to make the call. It was easy (I called a month ahead of time to secure my preferred date, and they place a $50 ""deposit"" on your card to hold it). The movers (sorry I am forgetting the names) were easy to work with, went over all of the paperwork, and got right to work. We had estimated about 6 hours, and we completed it in around 5 (which meant it came in under cost).
Honestly, if you are moving in the Seattle metro area (we moved from Seattle to Bothell) - there really is no comparison, skip the U Haul and your friends pickup trucks and just go with these guys.
