Husband not a horse person wanted to buy me a halter for my horse at Chistmas time , well it was way to big wanted to exchange it for a smaller size they refused because he didn't have original tag, he didn't think he should have kept all the receipts.I understand there policy but because of this he went to other places to buy me gifts , they lost a customer. This was not only handled wrong they were rather RUDE. I have been in sales for several years I was a manager for variety store for many many years. I understand the policy. I also understand who the customer is the halter was one that they carried and it was CLEAN brand new the story made sense and you keep a customer. We know alot of people and people talk. I am hoping they change their attitude you need to know your customers and keep them happy is the best policy.
