I recently took a camera in for an estimate. There was a $15 charge just for the estimate. I was called 2 hours later with a 2 word diagnosis ""No Repair"". The owner could not tell me what was wrong with it, or how much it would cost. I asked why I paid for an estimate if they could not supply me with one. He informed me that I did not pay for an estimate but a troubleshooting of the problem. I thought this was funny because I was already well aware of the problem and just wanted to know how much it cost. I took it to two other vendors who said they have several complaints from angry customers with this business and I will personally never go back. I also inquired as to how much it would be to reburn a miniDV and he said $85. I was able to have it done right up the road for $25. Avoid this place at all costs and don't make the mistake that I did, do not pay for repairs up front.
