Ever since my first time to Mi Amigo's in 1995, I have been going back. Prior to that, the only mexican food restaurant I had been to was Matta's. So I was very cynical. But now, years later as I compare Mi Amigo's to the food, salsa, desserts, atmosphere, service, etc to Macayo's, Manuel's, Rosita's and even Matta's I enjoy Mi Amigo's the best. The food is amazing, the prices are fair, the salsa is to die for and the atmosphere is great. I have never had any problems in the 10+ years that I have been going there and every time I try something new I am happy with the food. The desserts are super great, my favorite is the fried ice cream, if you haven't tried it, it is worth the money and it is only about $5.
