My order for my Fall 2008 wedding was very simple and small, yet Parkway Floral totally botched aspects of it! While the flowers were in good condition and fresh, they substituted colors in my one an only attendant's (my maid of honor's) bouquet. They substituted yellow lilies for what were supposed to be in-season orange lilies. Yellow was NOT even one of our wedding colors! Additionally, I had supplied a length of lace from my mother's wedding dress to be wrapped around the stem of my bridal bouquet. Strangely, Parkway Floral ALSO wrapped the same lace around my bridesmaid's bouquet, when they were to have used a coordinating color to my MOH's dress. The owner later told me he didn't notice that the order had been originally written incorrectly as having both bouquets wrapped with the lace, but that the wrapping of the MOH's with the lace had been actually crossed out (which would have been correct). Apparently, they are very disorganized and can't read their own handwriting! As for the floral color substitution, they argued with me that it had been originally written that way, when I know it had not been...yellow was never, ever discussed in any of our 3 meetings! I would think twice before using this vendor for a wedding, unless you want to be unpleasantly surprised on your big day. They never even so much as apologized for their mistakes, which is very inexcusable.
Pros: Flowers were at least fresh
Cons: Substituted colors without consent!
