In June of 2007, we purchased a 2003 Chevrolet Trailblazer EXT with 61,000 miles from Schaumburg Honda after the salesperson showed us the clean Carfax report and described the Dealerships inspection of every vehicle that comes into their lot and their only selling reliable used cars. \r

We purchased mechanical breakdown coverage for this vehicle and were told it would pay the listed repairs for a time period of 3 years or 36,000 miles.\r

In October of 2008 we needed to have the transmission replaced (warranty company would only pay for a used transmission), In February of 2008 the lift gate needed to be replaced (not covered), in March of 2008 we needed the axle seals repaired, in June of 2008 the alternator and water pump needed to be replaced, in November of 2008 the flywheel needed to be replaced and now in May of 2009 the flywheel needs to be replaced again. I am told that it is due to excessive play in the crankshaft. This claim has been declined as the warranty company states
