As some of you have noticed, this is a very expensive store and, as I have discovered recently, there are two reasons for that: not only are the prices higher than other stores for the same merchandise but also some of the cashiers are ripping people off. I will give you two examples. The first one is a $56 bill with a $20 item which the cashier couldn't find any explanation for. The second one is more subtle as there is another cashier who seems to systematically ring the same item twice, once at the beginning and then once towards the end so it is not easily noticeable. The reason for that, according to this cashier, is ""the system"" - whatever that means!
I would advise that if you shop there regularly, you check your bill carefully in the store before going back home. I have fortunately been only shopping there for a few months because it is conveniently located at walking distance from my place. Could somebody recommend a trustworthy store in the neighborhood which carries organic produce? Thanks.
