This was the worst Japanese food I have had in a long time. The yakisoba tasted more like some kind of peppered pasta. I could actually smell the bleach left on the miso soup bowl from being washed. I thought I was drinking swimming pool water. I lived in Japan for three years and I know Japanese food. I actually went to Akira with my Japanese friend, visiting here from Osaka. He and I were both shocked by the overpriced, tasteless food. His sukiyaki was unrecognizable, all he could bear to eat was the white rice. The service was just as bad as the food. The waitress was terribly rude and short with us. We couldn't find her after she served our food and had to ask the hostess for our check! I never make complaints like this online but this restaurant was so awful I knew I had to pass the word on. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY HERE.
