i started taking my vacuum to long's back in the 90's- i did not buy it from them but they repaired it for me and also told me if i ever wanted a new one they would take a trade. i eventually traded it for a riccar which i love and i have had for 6 years. they give their customers discounts and will do a tune-up on your machine. i had to bring mine in recently for some repairs (i'm hard on it) and they repaired it for a very reasonable price and were extremely meticulous and thorough. they are always friendly and just are a throwback to the days of real mom and pop service but with modern efficiency. they could have just tried to sell me a new machine but that's not their way. dont overlook them if you are going to buy a vacuum- you will not regret doing business with Long's!
