I am tired of seeing these ""Italian"" restaurants pop-up, which provide overpriced, heavy, cheese-ladden, Americanized menus. Epiphany's is just that. Despite the overpriced selection from your typical lasagne (which I can make better at home) and the braised short ribs which were all fat and no meat, the stuffy and obnoxious service left me with a worse taste in my mouth than the food.\r

I will say that the wine list is extensive, but none of the servers knew anything about the list or were familiar with providing food / wine pairing suggestions. \r

Try La Ginestra's in Glen Cove if you want a true fine Italian dining experience.
