Service order called in late on Friday night (furnace inop). Offered to come out that night, I declined and stated Saturday morning will be fine. They sent out a very inexperienced tech at 11:00 AM who repeatedly turned the on/off switch at least 12 times before he figured out that wasn't the problem. He then made phone calls to try to properly diagnose problem and came to the conclusion that my furnace needed a main control board, a part that was not in stock and that I would not have for 4 days. I have a working knowledge of electrical circuits so I decided to read the diagram and try to figure out the problem myself. After a few minutes of testing, I found that the main control board was not getting power due to a failed transformer. I called a local supply store, they had the part in stock and it cost me $8. I installed the part and the furnace worked fine. I paid Salego $75 for a service call and simply requested my money back. I was promised this money back 3 times in 3 months and still have not received a refund. I was told each time that it would be taken care of immediately by Andy Salego and I still have not received a refund. Poor service experience overall and I will never recommend this company to anyone.
