I really hope that previous reviewer gets a better experience next time. Rarely do I ever have a good experience at a barbershop or salon. Maybe it's my weird shaped head or straight hair that throws most stylists off half the time. The first time I came here, I was a little intimidated by the name of the place ""Metro"". Yeah....but boy am I glad I made that a appointment! I made an appointment on a Sat. afternoon, and they took me the same day. Once inside, I was immediately impressed as I saw a nice shoe shine area ( I can be old fashioned some times ). The place is richly decorated, with a nice lounge area with leather clubchairs for waiting and relaxing. All I needed was a whiskey in hand. My stylist took extra time just to study my hair since it was my first cut with them. My haircut took almost an hour and I loved it! The best thing I like about this place is the changing area. After a haircut, you can cleanup more as there is a sink and benches.
Pros: decor. service. everything!
Cons: can get a little busy. just be sure to make an appt!
