Great dive bar! Entering the Pre Flite is like entering 1973 all over again. It's very hard to find but once you find it you'll be happy you found it. It's located in the basement of Downtown Plaza. Best way to get there is to take the staircase (down) under the escalators that go up to Downtown Plaza from L St. between 5th and 6th Streets (under the old Mortons). The bar is only open between 10:00am and 9:00pm Monday through Friday and it's closed on holidays. The front doors are locked after 8:00pm so you may have to enter through the alley in back. The drinks are strong and the jukebox is great! (Who the *&%$ is Alice???). Say Hi to the Jack Russell Terrier that hangs out there.
