I'm writing this review because I met a great guy through Table for Six, someone I never would have met otherwise. I joined Table for Six after exhausting other options for finding single men -- none of my couples friends knew any available men, and I wasn't meeting people at work or through any of my activities. I was tired of the Internet thing and wanted to meet people in person rather than exchanging endless e-mails only to find out we had no chemistry after meeting. So, Table for Six was a perfect solution for me. Yes, it's expensive, but I looked at it like a gym membership -- I was paying them for something I didn't have access to on my own.
I went out on dinners about once a month (it's true that if you are a man you can go out a lot more often -- multiple times a week if you want). I met a lot of really nice people and had a few second dates. Since I hadn't dated much recently, the dinners were a good way to get back into practice flirting a bit. After a while the staff really had a sense of who my type was and there was at least one person like this at my tables. At that point, it was just a matter of time for me to meet someone where the attraction was mutual.
The guy I met is smart, successful, interesting, attractive, not afraid of commitment, etc We've been together for almost 9 months and I'm so glad to be done with dating. I never would have met him without Table for Six. So, to me, it was definitely worth it!
