I am a 37 mother and do not go out much. My girlfriends and I went to a comedy show at Parlor's on the evening of February 21st. We bought two glasses of champagne each, food and then decided to have some coffee.
After the show, we went to the dance floor and were laughing and took a couple photos.
The next thing you know, one of my friends was being escorted away, totally confused as to what was happening.
We were all being escorted out and were completely confused. We though that one of the girl?s fiancees was playing a joke or surprising her.
We kept asking why we had to leave and they said one of my friends was ?too drunk?. We could not think of anything she did. Apparently laughing means you are drunk. It seemed interesting that Parlor?s had no problem taking our money for the comedy show, drinks and food, but then our friend was ?too drunk? to stay.
A friend said she was outside prior to our being ?escorted out? and she said she had seen another man asking what he did and that he was just sitting at the bar talking to a friend and laughing. Now he was told he could not stay. He seemed to be completely shocked.
There was a long line and I know there are fire codes, so this leads me to believe Parlor?s wanted to get people in, take their money and move them on out so more could come in and spend money.
I called the manager, Bill, afterwards who was very rude and condescending. No customer service skills whatsoever.
I have visited this establishment several times and have set up several company events there, but I will never set foot in that facility again. I felt like I was treated like some low life and made to feel like someone I am not. This was a very upsetting experience and we put down plenty of money at this club.
