I too had a bad experience at PT. I went to them for about three years, but decided to change my insurance to go elsewhere this year. The doctor recommended a lot of unnecessary dental work on my kids, suggesting that one had 8 cavities needing to be filled-- 6 months prior the kid had his teeth coated. When I ask about this, the doctor said that only 2 teeth needed fillings. For the other child, my husband was told that our son needed a baby root canal for his cavity. My husband refused and instructed the doctor to just put a filling in-- and they did. By the way the doctor didn't even come out to talk to me about the "8 cavities" that my oldest son had. He sent out the dental hygienist. I had to schedule a follow up visit with the doctor and learned that my son would be OK to just get 2 teeth filled Very suspicious.
