This was absolutely one of the worst meals that we have ever had. We had extremely high hopes due to the atmosphere, etc. We arrived during happy hour and were pleased with our appetizer. After that, however, things went downhill, We ordered a warm spinach salad, which was just wilted and lacking in flavor. We were still upbeat and joked about getting the salad from North, and bringing it here so we could have a decent salad. However, shortly after that our steak, potatoes au gratin, and creamed spinach arrived. The steak had been ordered medium rare. It arrived totally charred and burned on the outside and raw on the inside. The taste was bitter. The potatoes had to be cut with a knife. The spinach was nothing more than steamed spinach with cream poured over it. The sides arrived with no serving spoon. We had to use our forks to put them on our plate. Our policy is that we do not return items to the kitchen as we have both worked in restaurants in the past and know workers respond to this.\r

We did complain to the manager, who comped us 2 happy hour drinks (we did not ask to be comped for anything). The manager is all of maybe 24 years old, and obviously did not take our comments seriously.\r

If you want a top quality steak, do not come here. I have had better steaks at Outback. We were celebrating a birthday, and this was a total fiasco. Go to Ruth Chris, at a comparable price, where you will get top quality steak and service. I wish we had.
Pros: The atmosphere is great. The happy hour special are good.
Cons: The steaks, salads and sides are horrendous.
