I recently moved out to this area and needed to find a new girl. A woman walked into my business & her hair is very similar to mine in color, texture and thickness so I asked her where she gets her hair cut. So I make an appointment. Well as soon as I stepped in, the receptionist was so rude! Don't assume that all people coming in there have been there before! And don't judge a book by it's cover either...I am getting my hair done...I'm not supposed to look glam on the way in, just out. So I go and meet my girl...and she's nice but I can tell she's overwhelmed. So I make small talk, but she's obviously preoccupied with something else so it's hard so I feel uncomfortable. I'm 31 and my previous hair dresser was 21, I like the younger girls b/c they know what's in style and keep me from being too safe. But this woman had no ideas about my hair. I even brought in a few pictures...mind you they were for my face shape & hair type. She had nothing to say really. OK so anyways I'm getting my hair cut and then she brings someone over to blowdry me with her. I'm thinking awesome...two girls...two blowdryers...super awesome volume...um no. It's b/c her next appointment was already there!!!! They squeezed me into a half an hour appointment!!! I paid $50 + tip for a less than barbershop quality hair cut and a non-relaxing time. I NEVER take time for myself, so when I do, I deserve it. Well the other girl blowdrying whacked my head so hard, and didn't even say sorry! \r
So I left Anton's with still wet hair and her idea of styling it was just leaving it for the ""natural"" look. I was going for edgy rocker lock...which = tease and spray......not so much.\r
So my boyfriend bless his heart bought me a $100 gift card for b-day and I have yet to use it. I think I will write the manger before I step in the door again.....or do I dare?
Pros: Location
Cons: Um Everything....ew.
