To be completely and blatantly honest, it's a normal ""Average Joe"" mall. It has a food court, a good selection of department stores, and some pretty interesting and popular retail stores inside. The mall is basically in the center of a larger shopping center off of 41st and Clares St. \r

Some notable shopping places are Macy's, Gottschalks, Gap, Bath & Body Works, Wet Seal, Foot Locker, Journey's, Men's Warehouse, GameStop, Vans, Abercrombie & Fitch, etc. The mall has announced that Kohl's and Coach (purse store) are now opening up stores there, which are expected to be done and opened in Spring 2009. \r

Some notable eateries are Sbarro, Cinnabon, Subway, Carl's Jr., Wetzel's Pretzel's, Starbucks, etc.\r

You can take a bus from Santa Cruz Metro station or Watsonville Metro station. If you have a car, there is plenty of on-site parking.\r

This mall is located in an interesting part of Capitola. There are some rather unsavory characters that lurk around at night, but it's not really much of a worry during the day. But always make sure to stay aware of your surrounds, and bring a friend.\r

I would recommend this mall for people who are looking for a simple solution for their basic shopping needs. For the avid shopper, I would suggest looking elsewhere (perhaps Valley Fair in San Jose?).
Pros: Good amount of popular stores, there always could be more. Plenty of parking, and easy to get to.
Cons: Better security would make the place feel safer.
