The Pear Tree was owned by my mother. She owned it for almost 10 years. She sold the business to the ""manager"" about a year ago. I grew up on this food- it is wonderful. The desserts really are the best. It seems that the new owner has odd hours, I would suggest calling ahead. People have commented that the service is poor but I have to disagree. The restaurant is extremely busy during lunch hours, because the food is that good! It is worth the wait.\r
