My wife had heard that Thai Orchid was a good restaurant so we decided to give it a try. It failed our expectations. One of the worst restaurants I have ever been too. The Thom Yum soup was served cold. The vegetable curry was also not to good dining standards as the vegetables were old. I have been a vegetarian close to a year and yes it's so easy to spot old vegetables. The service was also bad. It took them close to 45 minutes before we got served which would have been 'kinda"" okay if there was a lot of customers but there was so few that the bad service just amazed me. This is just an overpriced Thai restaurant. Definitely not recommended. If you are looking for good Thom Yum soup, try Thai Go at Pioneer Square in Downtown Portland.
