I've lived in NYC on the UES basically my entire life. When Uptown first opened it was fantastic...or perhaps just something different to the neighborhood. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. You could see the place going down as the staff became snotty and unhappy and the food slowly declined. I had vowed never to return again. Well I did just last week when a group of coworkers decided to meet up there. Horrible is all I have to say. The only reason this restaurant is still in the neighborhood is because people got use to it. If the food/drinks/prices/snooty staff would have been this way when they first opened they would not have lasted more than 6 months. I do not recommend this place to anyone. So many places to dine in NYC don't bother with this place.
