I have now had multiple bad experiences at Mr. Tire (formerly Cravens Tire and Auto). I used to just get my oil changed and tires rotated and that was fine. However, when I needed to get a new wheel bearing, they totally overcharged me. I have had this done before and it cost me $200 (granted that was a few years back). They originally charged me $380 for one wheel bearing! I then brought it to their attention that that price was ridiculous and they admitted to making a mistake on my bill. They charged me for the wrong kind of brake system (or something like that), so they overcharged by ~$50. I still ended up paying $330 for the fix, which is crazy. I'm sure they always try and 'accidently' charge people for the wrong thing but most people don't notice.
Then they wanted to charge us almost $1000 to get my husbands jeep fixed. We said no thank you and got his jeep towed to another shop and it was only $395. By the way, that shop is ABS Unlimited, I highly recommend them. T
