Finally - good, fresh food on Abbot Kinney that won't break the bank. The food here, served in a cafeteria-style line, has some winners and some losers, but you can sample anything before buying so that shouldn't be a problem. It's the sort of food you'd get down the street at Gjelina but for a fraction of the cost (and no snooty hostess or tips for waitstaff). This place is a killer for the indecisive - between the dozens of cold salads (including grains, veggies, pastas and other yummy stuff), the rotating stews, soups, sandwiches and proteins, the hardest thing is narrowing it down and picking a meal. It can be a little confusing because you go through the 'sides' first, but then if you order a hot dish you get a side with it (and a side consists of two scoops -- which can be divided into two separate sides, or two scoops of one side). But the staff is friendly so just ask for help. Only gripe: the signature lemonades are a bit sweet, and way too big. They only come in one size (which resembles a Starbucks venti cup); they should realize that less can be more and downsize their cups. Pros: great menu, fresh food, cafeteria-style seating Cons: ordering can be hectic/confusing more
