On Tuesday, November 17, 2009 I took my car in to Pro Auto, 4960 Elmore, Memphis, TN (correct address for this business). I had talked to the owner Clifford Young the week before and we discussed what repairs I need on my 2001 Honda Accord. He told me to bring it in and they could do the repairs. He told me it would take two days. I rented a car from Enterprise for $34.00 a day which totaled $77.92 for two days. When I dropped off my car I talked to Tiffany, Clifford's wife and she and I discussed what Clifford was doing to the car and the additional things I wanted him to check. I said to Tiffany if he finds any additional problems with the car, call my before he does the work. I obviously need to know the price of an additional repair. I did call Clifford on Wednesday morning at 10:30am and told him I forgot my cell phone and asked if he found any additional repairs needed on my car other then the timing belt replacement and EGR ports cleaned. He did not mention any problems nor did he tell me he hadn't looked at the car yet. At that time he had the car in his shop for a day and a half. I told him I would pick up my car around 5:00pm as I needed to return the rental. I arrived at Pro Auto around 5:15pm on Wednesday and was told by Clifford that they did not start any work on my car. While Tiffany was standing there Clifford told me the sheet said call with an estimate. Tiffany completely understood that I said that was for any additional repairs. He said he couldn't reach me even though he did acknowledge we agreed to the repairs & costs on the front end. I was so disappointed in the service I received or lack of service from Pro Auto and the lack of any kind of professionalism or customer service.
Pros: No Pros
Cons: Bad customer service
