After a pleasant at home consultation with Mendel, our old but very well-made camel-back sofabed was taken away and re-uphostered exactly as we had hoped. Everything but the frame, mechanism and springs was replaced. I would say that the cushions are better than new, the rolled arms are perfectly reconstructed and the work is tight and perfect. The fabric cost about one third the price for the very same fabric at a nice place in midtown Manhattan. They even threw in arm protectors to ward off our cat. We are getting many complements on the sofa!!
