I organized drinks with 8 friends for Saturday Dec 5th after reading a fantastic review in a local entertainment paper. None of us could recall a night more miserable than the one we had at Red Room. To start it took a minimum of 15 minutes to place a drink order at the bar, then another 10 minutes to receive the drink and pay out. Second, the Red Room has advertised itself as a place with good music but not too loud so that you can still hear your friends....this was not the case. Third, we sat down at a reserved table, knowing and understanding we would need to leave once the guests who reserved the table arrived. After being there for two hours and ordering many drinks one of the staff ordered us to ""finish our drinks, close our tab and vacate."" (Even though no one had arrived yet to collect the reservation...it was almost midnight at this point.) We were treated as if our money was not good enough. The place was filled with $30,000 millionaires. We were told they were trying to attract a certain ""clientele"". Obviously, we were not the ""clientele"" they were after. Even though we were all dressed very nicely, in fact some of us in dresses and heels and we were happily spending money freely on overpriced drinks. To top it off when we ""vacated"" one of my friends cars had been hit in valet parking. And it took the rest of us a soild 20minutes to get our car out of valet even though we were the only ones leaving. We have never been treated so rudely. We will NEVER return. Such a shame to as we were all very excited about a potential new lounge that sounded like it was just the place for us.
