Whatever the reason for the 19th Street Gym's abrupt disappearance last week, the disrespect for customers and trainers is sad example of how not to run a business and a sends a bad message about small private gyms -- a rarity in NYC'f fitness community. The gym has been closed for more than a week without any hint of if it would ever open again. There still has been no email to clients or posting on the website about the closing. And, if the gym is closed for good, what about the members lost membership payments? Loyal members deserve better than this.

Cons: bad business...muscleheaded service
