The Dr visit was great but the reception seemed quite put out that I only brought cash to pay for my appointment. When she couldn't break hundreds she was even more frustrated that she had to fetch cash from the bank. A bill was sent surrounding my co-pay which was taken care of immediatly. Soon after it was time to order my contacts and the receptionist would not give me a strait answer about how much I owed on my account. When I was frustrated to the point of taking my business elsewhere, I asked for my prescrition to which she told me that I must pay them 50 dollars to release that information. I said just forget it and thanks and she hung up on me. I will not be taking my business there again which is a shame b/c I really liked the Dr and the staff but don't have time to deal with people who don't know how to be professional. The folks that referred me had mentioned that they have had administrative issues there as well, but after I have told a few people about this incident we are all going somewhere else. \r \r So I am updating this review as I just got off the phone with another Dr and they are showing that Dr. Furey's practice is holding all the money for my benefits. I have yet to take delivery on contacts or glasses and Dr. Furey office has filed under my insurance so they can get money for a product they have not delivered or even ordered on my behalf.
