Average at Best 11/28/2009

So, when I ask the server at an establishment that is more than likely to take approximately $100 of my money and I ask, ""what is your favorite item on the menu,??"" I don't look for a response back that states, ""Well, what are you in the mood for?"" I want to reply, ""Well, I'm in the mood to eat at your damn restaurant."" I expect more because the person serving me at that given moment is the complete face of that establishment, and these days I'll take my money to BK if I feel that it's warranted. You should know what's on the menu, and you should know even more what the BEST item on the menu is. I'm not just making conversation. That aside let me continue...\r \r This place was average Chinese cuisines at best that was waaaay over-priced. (shhhh, don't tell all the supposed politicians who come in, and don't tell the lack of patrons I noticed eating there). The problem with this country is that not a lot of people actually know what to expect out of Chinese food and that is true for most cuisines in my opinion. Sure, most of the country eats at the OG, but does that make it good food? No. Does it make it ""authentic?"" No. Not to mention this word 'authentic' is ubiquitous these days when prefacing an establishment. It needs to go. \r \r People who know Asian food know how it's supposed to taste, even more how much it's supposed to cost. Those who are truly interested and don't want to fly all the way across the Pacific, I suggest you start in Vancouver, BC.\r Pros: Choice of decor Cons: Price, Service, ""authenticity."" more
