Very good dim sum 11/22/2009

We are dim sum addicts.\r When I found this place so close to home I have been back again and again.\r \r They have many authentic dishes - not necessarily geared to the western palette. If you're an ""egg foo young"" and ""sweet and sour white meat chicken"" type of Chinese food eater, this place is probably not for you. Chicken paws (feet), boiled tripe, taro root puffs and lotus bean paste balls are the joy of dim sum - so get your head in the game or don't bother!\r \r The dim sum (aka ""love nugget"") is as it should be - super (dare I say ""uber""?) fresh, piping hot little dumplings and pastries filled with a wide variety of meats and vegetables. \r \r I cannot go to dim sum without assuming that I will be taking $30 worth of leftovers home, because the joy of dim sum is trying EVERYTHING!\r \r Dim sum comes out on trays here, but if you don't see what you need (yes, I said ""need"", not want, because we dim sum addicts have needs...) they usually whip it up in about 10 to 15 minutes. Some special items are only served on weekends, as is with most dim sum places. The crowds are heavy, but the the rewards are great for waiting it out on a Sunday morning for the feather-light golden flaky little meat pies and puffs. Pros: great variety more
