Our second vehicle purchase in 6 months~THANKS Don Martin 11/4/2009

This was our second vehicle purchase with Dick Hannah Kia and DON MARTN with in a six month period. He was notified of our interest when our banks car buying program notified DH Kia and Don Martin. Within minutes Don e-mailed back asking if there was anything he could do to assist us. I immediately called Don and let him know we were interested in an Optima, fully loaded and that we would love to drive out to see it. As always DON MARTIN took full interested in what we were looking for went out on the lot found what we wanted and called me back with all the vehicle information as well as that of a few others on the lot. Because this was our SECOND vehicle purchase in such a short amount of time DON MARTIN knew who we were as a family and what we needed in a vehicle. The vehicle he found was perfect expect for one, okay well four big expensive problems....the RIMS AND TIRES. They were a little “too much” for our taste, DON knew that and offered to speak with Rachel the GM about removing them and putting the original stock tires back on the OPTIMA we were interested in. He made sure I understood that he could make no promises about swapping tires, but he would see what he could do. We live out on the Northern Oregon Coast and have three boys, so driving 2 hours to look and possibly purchase a vehicle is no easy task. Don, my husband and I scheduled to meet first thing the next morning. Upon arriving at DH KIA DON MARTIN was outside awaiting our arrival and pleasantly greeted us with a hand shake and smile. He acknowledged our three boy and welcomed them back. We immediately went to look at the OPTIMA’s available on the lot. To my surprise the Optima we were interested in already had the “after market” tires removed and original stock tires put back on prior to arrival. Because there was not enough room for the entire family and DON MARTIN to test drive the vehicle DON was patient while my husband and I took turns test driving the OPTIMA. Although the OPTIMA we test drove was everything we wanted, we wanted to make sure that we had exhausted all our options by looking at “every” OPTIMA on the lot and we did and again DON MARTIN was very patient and kind. The decision was made, we wanted this OPTIMA for this price, with this trade in!!!! At first and as always the numbers did not match, DON MARTIN and Jon Pelley (sales manager) worked the numbers that we could all agree with. To top off an amazing car buying experience Don Martin graciously purchased an adorable little “purse key chain” with the KIA logo on it as well as a “manly” keychain for my husband. Within 4 hours we were driving away in our new KIA OPTIMA, presented to us on the “red carpet” outside the doors of the dealership!!! THANKS to DON and JON for all of your assistance in the purchase of our OPTIMA. We are truly pleased with our experience and are completely enjoying our new OPTIMA.
