I have dined at Ellie's several times hoping my experience would approve. The location is convenient, as there are not a lot of choices close by, but my experiences there do not counter the convenience factor. The staff are family and are considerably rude. For a small restaurant, the service is slow and inattentive. The last time I was there, I asked the owner (Ellie) to be seated outside. I waited for someone to bring a menu, and had to go inside to inquire. I walked up to the staff and said ""We are outside..."" and the son said ""So?"" I left and will not be returning. This is the second time I left without dining. I will not be going back. I do not need a doting waiter, but a cordial one is expected. The food is not authentic Greek. However, the cheese and olive appetizer portions are generous.
