POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE 11/22/2009

PRE-ORDERED AND PAID FOR A CASE OF SPARKLING WINE OVER THE PHONE. THE SALES PERSON ASSURED ME THEY HAD MY REQUEST IN STOCK AND I COULD JUST PICK UP. I SENT A FRIEND TO PICK UP AND OF COURSE THEY COULDN'T FIND MY ORDER. AFTER CALLING AND SPEAKING WITH AT LEAST 2 PEOPLE, MY FRIEND CONFIRMED THE BOTTLE COUNT AND LEFT. WHEN WE OPENED THE CASE A FEW HOURS BEFORE MY EVENT, WE DISCOVERED THAT THEY SOLD ME THE WRONG BOTTLES. WHEN I CONTACTED THEM, I AGAIN SPOKE WITH AT LEAST TWO PEOPLE, WHO BOTH CONFIRMED THAT THEIR ""STAFF"" SCREWED UP THEIR INVENTORY AND THEY ACTUALLY NEVER HAD THE SPARKLING WINE I REQUESTED AND PURCHASED IN ADVANCE. FOR TEN MINUTES I LISTENED TO THEM EXPLAIN THEIR MISTAKE WITHOUT OFFERING A SHRED OF RECOURSE OTHER THAN TO RETURN THE PRODUCT (NOW 1.5 HOURS BEFORE MY EVENT). BASICALLY, JUST SCREWED. more
