The hostess was rude; our food arrived before our wine; and when we were asked at the end of the meal how everything was, we mentioned our disappointment in one of the courses (we had less than one full beet on our beet salad) and the report back from the kitchen was that we should have told them earlier.
There are too many really good restaurants in Portland to go back to this barely average one, and we'll be sure to let all of our friends know about our experience as well.
