I found the truck I wanted on the internet and went to Maxwell Dodge to purchase it. We talked and they said they could get it for me (dealer trade from somewhere) at invoice minus rebates ($1000) and I agreed. I filled out the finance form and told them I would put $5000 down and would pay it off in one month. They said to wait 90 days, no charge and I agreed. They then jerked me around on financing, the finance manager never called me back to see if they would approve me. They asked me to come back in and see what we could do. I looked on the internet for a dealer near me and found Mac Haik and called them and got the manager of sales. I gave him the VIN # and he looked it up and said it was their vehicle at their store in Houston, and explained what had happened at Maxwell Dodge. He asked me to fill out an online financing application, which I did, and he asked me when I could come in and buy the truck. I came right in, signed the papers for $5000 down and $575 per month at a price of invoice minus all of the incentives.
