Mesquite Eagle Transmission rebuilt my transmission and, overall, it was a positive experience. Even though the price was more on the high end, I think that, ultimately, they did a good job.
They did some things really well: for example, the manager was very good about explaining what was wrong and what they were going to do to fix it. I found his explanation helpful and realized that not all shops would take the time to do this.
They were busy when I took my vehicle in on a Saturday for diagnosis, so they could not get to it that day. It actually took them 3 days to diagnose it and 3 days to fix it. After it was fixed, the transmission fluid leaked and we had to take it back. They repaired it again and now everything seems to be fine.
I had warned them that the alarm system auto-locked the doors but it still locked them out and they had to break the door lock to get back in. They have said that they are going to repair the lock and, while we are still finding a time to do this, I have to give them credit for being standup about fixing it.
