The only hairdresser for me is Jessica at Malstrom's Salon on 7th East in SLC. (Park behind the the salon.) Jessica has taken care of me every since she began her career at the same time I moved to Salt Lake. She's open to new ideas and willing to make suggestions when it's time for a change, but she's also willing to maintain a hairstyle that's working. She pampers me every time I come to the salon with a hand massage, a thorough hair washing, and a great cut and color. ||[]||[]The salon itself is welcoming. The minute I walk in the door there is always someone offering me something to drink (the tea is amazing!) and letting me know if I'll have to wait, which I almost never do. The quarters are small, making for a homey, cozy feeling. ||[]||[]Prices are what you would expect in an Aveda salon and wll worth every penny. The downtown location makes this a great place to stop in after work, or even to squeeze in during an extra long lunch.
