I am very upset about this salons etiquette. I applied for a job there and they decided it wasn't important to call me back even if I wasn't one of the people they were looking at hiring. I understand everyone cannot be hired, but I feel it is important to call back the people that take the time to come in for an interview and send thank you notes and follow-ups. I also think it would be polite to send an e-mail, even, to let them know that they are full and not interested in hiring any more stylists, so that the people that did come in to visit and research your salon would know that they can start looking at other salons that actually are interested in them instead of waiting a week or two for a salon thats not interested in them.
Pros: Nice hiring people
Cons: Don't call you back
