After a dismal dinner the night before we were hoping for a good burger and fries. What we got was the best burger we've ever had!
After being seated right by the river our waitress Julie came out immediately and took our drink orders. While we looked over the menu we had our first round of drinks and Julie checked on us periodically, never hurrying us. I asked about the buffalo burger versus the Akaushi and she said "get the Akaushi, it's the best burger, I won't eat a burger anywhere else" She even commented that a previous diner loved the burger so much that he ordered another one! After that kind of recommendation what else could we order? I ordered mine medium rare, my boyfriend's was medium. The meat melted in our mouths. It was so good we took off all the condiments (lettuce, tomato, and pickles) and just ate with the bun, onions, and cheese! Needless to say we were pleasantly surprised! The burger came with fries or onion petals, both great! We ordered the potato skins to start and they were good as well. I was impressed to see Shiner Black on the menu it's one of my favorites. While not a margarita drinker my boyfriend didn't have any complaints about his.
We will definitely be coming back for that burger!
