This physician/psychiatrist is cutting-edge knowledgeable as regards psycho-pharmaceudicals and those conditions for which they are prescribed. He is a breed apart from the average medication-management psychiatrist in that he takes the time to listen to his patients. I have never met anyone quite like him and, had it not been for a relocation and the refusal of my insurance company to let me commute 125 miles to see him once a month, I would still be with him. The one negative feedback on this site pertaining to him is unbelievably offbase and slanderous, at best. It describes someone that is NOT Dr. Kumar who happens to be an exceptionally knowledgeable and caring professional. He made a huge and improved difference in my life at a time when I needed it most.
