My 2nd baby boy was born on Sept 4, and was delivered by Dr. Lisa Beard. I was scheduled for an induction that day, but baby decided to come early (4:31am). Even though i am not her patient and never met her before that night, Dr. Beard was very professional and compassionate. She was there for me at four in the morning. (I wouldn't get out of bed at that time for anyone but family...) So i have a great deal of respect for her. This pregnancy was nothing like the first. I felt a lot of pelvic pressure, i was constantly stressed out and irritated due to the hormonal rollercoaster. My pregnancy was not complicated, but i made it so. I don't know how many times i called in to ask questions or to complain about something small (during the pregnancy and postpartum). I received answers promptly, and was treated with the utmost respect. I was cared by an awesome team of doctors and nurses (Brandi, Pam, Jennifer, Christina, Krista and Tanya). After seeing them monthly/weekly for 9 months, I feel like i know everyone, and can call them my friends. Both Brandi and Doctor Hardwick-Smith addressed all of my concerns and gave me confidence at each appointment. Brandi has a positive attitude and is very caring. Dr. Hardwick-Smth is the best of the best, and that's why she has been my doctor for over 8 years - I love her! Dr. Ohlemacher came to see me twice while i was in the hospital to make sure i was doing okay - she really didn't have to, and that meant a lot. Bertha (ultrasound tech) is also very nice. She explained each ultrasound in detail to me and my husband. Now that my family is complete, i will miss seeing them so often. They really care about your health, pregnant or not. I have nothing but positive things to say about this practice!
Pros: Compassionate team of doctors and nurses
